Candle care

The candle should always melt all the way to the edge. Lighting the first time is so-called "memory Burn’, it is necessary to let it burn until the entire surface is liquid to achieve even burning later. This will take around 4 hours, so please take your time. Otherwise, a tunnel will form in the middle of the candle and the edge remains "unused" wax and this shortens the life of the candle considerably. In general, 3-4 hours burning time is optimal, do not burn candle for longer at a time.
-
You don’t need any special abilities, but there are several things you should remember. To enjoy its crackling sound to the fullest, shorten the wick by simply breaking off the charred part. You should break about 5-8 mm of the wick. This will also ensure that the candle will burn bright and all way to the edge. Otherwise, you run the risk of the candle smudging up the entire surface. The wooden wick is by far the cleanest of all wicks, it does not fume, but only if it is tended properly.
-
If you are in the same room with the candle for a long time, it is possible that you do not perceive the fragrance properly. You can leave the room and come back, and you will notice the fragrance again. The best way to refresh the fragrance is proper airing and leave fresh, cool air in the room. The colder the air, the more intense the fragrance.
-
If you don't want to use your candle for a long time, you should store it standing, dark and cool. Our candle carton is best suited for this purpose. Thus, the candle remains protected from dust and the fragrance stays in a small space better than when the candle is free.
Home fragrance care

The fragrance intensity in the room depends on the number of reeds put in the bottle, we suggest starting with 4-5 reeds and ad more if needed. To increase the intensity of the fragrance you should also rotate the reeds on the regular base. It can also help if you have a proper airing and leave fresh air in the room. The colder the air, the more intense the fragrance.
-
Spreading time will vary slightly, as it directly depends on the position in the room, temperature and other environment changes. To ensure the constant and equal spreading of fragrance, we recommend rotating the reeds regularly. In the first two week at least one’s a day, later you should repeat this 3-4 times a week. Made of naturally untreated wood, our extra-long reeds increase the spreading surface allowing the scents to be released longer and more equal.

If you don't want to use your diffuser for some time, close bottle with aluminum lid and store it standing and dark. Leave the reeds in extra glass for a few days until the oil evaporates and then you can store them until you need them again, please note that reeds even dry still can cause stains.
